Work in progress: Painting a botanical garden office mural in Hove

For the past few days I have been working on a botanical mural for a beautiful garden office in Hove, East Sussex.

The brief was to design and paint a vibrant tropical mural reflecting the plants in the client's garden - bringing the 'outside inside'.

The bright new office space sits at the end of a long garden with concertina doors opening onto the lawn. Covering the entire rear wall of the space, the mural is visible from the house.

All of my emulsions are from The Little Greene Paint Company and Farrow and Ball. My palette includes lots of shades of green - heavily featuring Green Veriditer that I use in many of my botanical murals.
