Our business is based on word of mouth recommendation. We spend very little on marketing, passing on this saving to our clients.
Each of our murals is unique and is dependent upon these variables:
Complexity of the design and the scale
Materials - emulsion, spray paint, latex paint, stencils, clear coats, primers/sealers
Equipment - scaffolding, lift, masking material such as stencils etc.
Design Process - digital sketches, physical drawings, paint sampling, etc.
Design and research fee
After an initial consultation we will provide you with a free estimate.
We then require a 25% design and research fee to cover sketches, paintings or digital mock-ups of the finished mural.
This fee covers the cost of up to three revisions to the initial design. Any further revisions are charged at a small additional cost.
This includes insurance, labour, materials, design and equipment for the mural painting. It does not include general repair and preparation of the wall (i.e. cleaning, masonry work, priming, etc.) or clear coating of the wall to be painted. Unless otherwise requested, we use a high quality emulsion paint for interior projects or high quality commercial grade paint for external projects.
The longevity of the mural is dependent upon the quality of the surface we are painting. We therefore recommend that exterior walls be power washed one week prior to priming to ensure adequate drying time.
Masonry primer/sealer is recommended for brick or concrete walls that have not yet been painted. Optional clear coats and/or graffiti seals may also be included for an additional cost.
We invoice you separately for each stage of the project:
25% Design and research
50% To be paid two weeks before painting begins
25% Balance upon completion of the mural
