I loved painting this glamorous botanical mural for the Pelirocco hotel in Brighton. Transforming the grand master suite inside Brighton's wildest boutique hotel, this mural proves my point that more can - yes - sometimes be more!
This botanical design brings together familiar species used throughout my work - wild flowers such as Rosebay Willow Herb, ferns and thistles all native to my favourite national parks of Exmoor and the South Downs.
My design weaves across a dark aubergine base and flows outwards onto ceiling, white walls and beyond. This mural was painted over six days but I enjoyed it so much I could have easily carried on.
