Clara spent a wonderful day wandering about the house and gardens of Charleston house in the East Sussex Countryside near Lewes. The house formerly inhabited and decorated by the Bloomsbury set is a wealth of murals and artefacts. The house feels as if Virginia Woolf might just step back inside any moment.
