Here are work in progress shots of my recent botanical mural which I was commissioned to paint for the new Beauty Secrets salon in Hove. I began with my illustrations as a starting point and gradually built up the design using a pencil to draw in the leaf shapes. Once the basic structure was in place, I was able to allow the design to grow organically, painting free style the Gingko Biloba plant as it curved around the interior archway.
