It's all in the paint

For my recent botanical mural project in Hove, I used a palette by Little Greene paint Company. Just two colours on one wall - paired back for me but very effective! This was painted on an exterior wall so I needed to protect the colours from the elements by using an external paint finish. This was mixed by specialist paint experts Brewers in Hove. Hand painting murals is a much like painting one of my canvases only larger and much more graphic. I tend to start from a line or shape and then work outwards. Sometimes I have the design in mind, sometimes I allow my imagination to lead the paint brush.
