Terms and conditions
These terms apply to all mural commissions undertaken by Living Wall Murals / Clara Wilkinson.
Booking and payment
A 30% booking payment is required to secure project dates and begin the design process.
The remaining balance is payable on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Project dates are not confirmed until the booking payment has been received.
Design and artistic interpretation
Each mural is commissioned as an original work of art. Sketches, designs and digital mock-ups are intended to communicate the overall composition, colour palette, scale and creative direction of the mural. They are not an exact blueprint.
The finished mural will develop naturally throughout the hand-painting process. Brushwork, placement, proportions and individual details may vary from the approved design while remaining consistent with the agreed concept and Clara Wilkinson's artistic style. The variations are part of the bespoke, hand-painted nature of the mural.
Revisions
The project fee includes one developed design direction and one round of reasonable revisions. Further revisions, alternative concepts or substantial changes to the agreed brief may incur additional charges.
Once painting has begun, significant changes to the approved design, palette or composition may insure additional charges.
Changes to the project
Quotations are based on the photographs, measurements, site information and brief supplied at the time of booking. Additional walls, increased dimensions, changes to the brief or unexpected site conditions may incur additional costs. Any additional charges will be discussed before extra work is undertaken.
Completion
A mural is considered complete once the work described in the agreed brief has been carried out. Minor adjustments can be discussed at the end of the project. Requests for additional elements or alterations after completion will be treated as additional work and quoted separately.
Copyright
Copryright in all original designs and artwork remains with Clara Wilkinson /Living Wall Murals unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commissioning a mural does not transfer the right to reproduce, copy or commercially exploit the artwork.
Photography
Completed work may be photographed and used by Living Wall Murals for portfolio, website, social media and promotional purposes, subject to any reasonable privacy requirements agreed in advance.
Acceptance
Payment of the booking invoice confirms acceptance of the quotation, agreed project scope and these Terms and Conditions.
